Summer quarterly membership meeting and BBQ Mark your calendars for GPA-Central Texas' summer quarterly membership meeting on Saturday, June 20. This year we're going to do something a little different. Instead of the traditional ice cream social on Father's Day, we're going to have a pre-Father's Day BBQ gathering at a Central Austin park. You only need to bring what you want grilled (hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, tofu pups, etc.) and a dish for all to share, and GPA-CT will provide the grill and griller, buns, condiments, drinks and dishes. Bring the family and the hounds and come enjoy a chance to visit with old friends and make new ones. We promise that the membership portion of the meeting will be short, short, short! The Ramsey Park swimming pool is open until 8 p.m., so bring your swim suits. (Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the pool area.) |
